No, it's not out yet. I'm just getting ready. Please use this thread for all your thoughts, feedback and whatnot about the Battlestations: Pacific Demo, whenever you can stop yourself from playing it. ;)
We certainly hope you like it. Remember, this is just a tiny taste of what to expect in the full game.
I agree. I guess Eidos tactic is to upset so we don't buy the game. Com'on man, this is NO WAY TO TREAT YOUR CUSTOMERS! I stayed up to f'ckn 2 AM! FOR NOTHING!
Never mind guys - it's a bit bumpy road but eventually it will come.
The weirdest thing to me is that while the press release said the PC distribution will be through Games for Windows Live Marketplace, in reality it looks like a GAMESPOT link. Not that it matters a lot but it is far not the same...
Patience - I guess they will sort out the link thing in an hour or so...
yeah so hopefully the pc demo will arrive at sum point today cash in my holiday hours so i cud play it if it fails too turn up ill be very disappointed (
It's like kids at Christmas, can I go down stairs yet, has santa been, can I open my presents, AWW but thats so unfair. oocch, occh, aww but whhhhhyyyy ???
Slamn, slamn, bang, bang !!!
Did you expect that the second the timer timed out the link would be instantly available ??
No point in screaming at poor Mike or EIDOS for that matter, just chill it will be there when it's there
tbh had this same problem when i was waiting on warhammer too go live seems people just arent ready for these things i mean making sure all your sites and ppl hosting your games i mean
Well I'm gonna say this for demo feedback right now. This was one of the dumbest damn decisions I've ever seen. To have it single player only? That's uncalled for and is simply retarded.
I hope a mod or dev sees this and passes it on to whoever the moron is who said "lets make is single player" because honestly it's a pretty retarded and stupifying call. As if one multiplayer map like midway's demo would hurt.
It's sad because you put all this work into the game and well, Midway's demo is 10 times better because you get to sample the online play. That's what this is all about, online play, not single player maps, ya need to fire the genius who came up with this idea. How is it possible that someone who gets paid to make these decisions, chooses to release a game for a platform that most people use because they like gaming with their friends.
