Is GHz Important?

Hi,

I was wondering if GHz is important in order to run the game, because whenever I play it keeps freezing.
Right now I have 2.3 GHz, pretty low I know but it can run all of my games except BSP. So how much GHz do you guys have?

Let me know so I can upgrade mine Big smile

Yes, GHz of your CPU is important. It is the amount of tasks performed per second. I had a 3.2GHz Pentium 4 and he game ran ok. It ran better on a 2.66GHz Dualcore. The best performance I got was on a 2.4GHz Quad core with 4GB RAM and a 9800GTX graphics card. If you have any more questions, don't hesitate to ask Smiling
