We've brought you the meanest of Battleships, the most terrifying of Cruisers and now, it's time to aim high, and reach for the skies.



G5N Liz

- For 100 points, this unit is the Japanese equivalent to the B-29 - similar, but ever so slightly different.
- The G5N Liz retains the same speed as other Japanese bombers.
- It also packs an excellent defensive armament – 20mm machine guns.
- The Liz is stronger than a B-17 bomber but weaker than a B-29.
- The Liz still remains the strongest Japanese heavy bomber.
- Force Z can be destroyed even faster now.

P-51 Mustang

- The P-51 Mustang is fast like a Corsair and maneuverable like a Hellcat. A deadly combination.
- In almost every combat situation the Mustang is easy to fly even for a rookie pilot.
- In the hands of an ace pilot however, the Mustang is an extremely deadly weapon.
- Mustangs have mounts for two 200lbs bombs or six rockets (for anti-ship missions). Yes, they have six rockets.
- Mustangs cannot stand the combined firepower of the Shindens though – be aware when you are making head-on passes against them.
- The favorite dish of the Mustangs is the Ohka, along with its carrier. But they have also been known to chew on destroyers when equipped with rockets.
- The cost? Only 100 points. A steal for air superiority like this!

ps: options * vessels are also removed, imagine a battle of 4H! it certainly makes you points, but the tension and terrible .. thank you for your attention

I've noticed that the Mustang can't reach its true top speed of 465 MPH, even with the bosster on. Noreover, the speeds reached, in game, are comparable with the underpowered earlier Alison engined Mustang.

Despite this, it is more than a match for the Shinden in maneuverability and performance.

Now if they added the much feared (by Allied pilots) Ki-84 "Frank" (2 x 20mm. and 2 x 30mm. cannons) or the Kawasaki Ki-61 and Ki-100 fighters, then the game would be interesting.

Also, where is the other prolific Japanese fighter of WW2, the Ki-27 "Nate", which was as common as Zeroes, being the Japanese Army's principle fighter.

Maybe the Mitsubishi A-5M, the fighter version of the A-3M "Val" divebomber could be added as well.

lizs are alrite and mustangs are allright as well. I dont see using mustangs over say a montana or alaska though because they go the same speed as wildcats and are a little more manuverable. I guess if u wana noob it up you can just spam your game with mustangs with rockets and win
