Today sees the release of The Mustang Pack, dropping a bunch of brand new units and more, straight into BS:P. Featuring six new units and a whopping 18 new pieces of nose art, the Mustang Pack allows you to customise your battles in both single and multiplayer modes even further. Amongst the units, you'll be able to take to the skies in the legendary US P-51 Mustang bomber escort, a late entry to the Pacific campaign but one which made its mark in Europe as a deadly force; or control the seas with the US Navy’s Alaska Class, giving the upper hand with a large and heavily armed ‘cruiser killer’; or how about the Super Yamato Class, a huge behemoth of a ship which, had it left the drawing board, would have outclassed the Yamato in every way with the potential to be the most powerful battleship in history. This blows, still no unit pack, first was a delay in the relase of it. Now there an error when you try to buy it. WTF, this is not looking good for games for windows..

Reminds me when I first saw Iowa mission pack....
Just one question:
Why could I download iowa Mission Pack and Patch v.1.1.1 for BSM free on the old Battlestations.net and now I must pay??
The Iowa Mission pack was something of a special case on PC for Battlestations: Midway, and was released for free as a thank you to fans for sticking with us since it came out considerably later than the 360 version (approx three months).
The Xbox 360 version however was premium content, much as with our current crop for BS:P. With Games for Windows Live and the ability for us to release content within the same launch windows, we are now able to treat all users the same - offering the same content at the same time, for the same price.
Any patches and title updates will of course, always be free.

Just an idea: Can't you put all of it on a CD like an expansion pack?

...after playing love the new ships, everything but the new heavy bomber is awsome but the japs did need one that didnt take 2 hits to shoot down, at least these can get through flack for a couple of drops.
funny thing is im impressed with the kuma the most and both american ships and the superyamato are awsome to say the least but being able to launch 20 torps, THEN turn other side of ship and launch 20 MORE? i like

PC windows market place is down. I had a hard time getting the new volcano map pack down load for this game.

i spent some time on the windows live message board and they seem to think it has to do with your internet history. I deleted mine and was able to download the map pack, but i haven't found the ship pack yet.

It's not working for me either. This is so unbelievably frustrating and unfair that it doesn't work for the PC users as far as I can see.

I think I'm gonna try that internet history thing even though I don't even use Internet Explorer ever.
I'm told there was an issue with the PC DLC going up on Games for Windows LIVE Marketplace at Microsoft's end. I'm really sorry for the delay guys, but apparently it should be up and ready for download within the hour.
I activated this pack and tested it and I appear to have found a bug right away, two troop ships refused to complete capture of two supply bases while I was using the Super Yamato, over two hours they just sat there, command was completely lost, this was in single player mode, the supply bases had full green bars but I was never given notice of their capture the base icon never changed from neutral and the troop ships became uncommandable, this lost me 200 command points so I had to fight on with 1000 CPs only and eventually gave up. Two other troop ships did capture & convert, of four sent out at the start of the game, and later-spawned trrop ships also worked.
So settings of the game were as follows.
USA played by AI Veteran.
Japan played by me.
Upgrade unit set to Super Yamato.
Map Swirl Large, no victory point limit, no time limit, reload off.
Troop ships sent to said supply bases 08 & 05 failed ever to capture them etc.
Is it possible to get DLC for "Battlestations:Pacific" of PC version with japanese gamertag?
Most of Japanese game player of PC version in trouble with they not able to get DLC for "Battlestations:Pacific" because of theirs gamertag.
My English isn't perfect. so I'm sorry if there sre some mistake.
I'm still not seeing it in the marketplace
Has anyone at all on the PC had success with getting it?
According to Games For Windows Live Support staff, as of 10:50 EST, the unit pack is "XBOX Specific". They have NO information pertaining to a PC release at all. (No release date, ect.)

That's very odd. I can assure you the pack is with Microsoft (having spoken to them today) and will be going up. I'm not sure exactly what the hold up was/is but it was supposed to be up this morning. My thoughts were that we were waiting for the US to wake up before it was actioned. I have limited internet access right now, so i can't check... is is still not there?
