Grab the new Carrier Battles Map Pack for Battlestations: Pacific, released today.

For just 800 Microsoft points you can take home the Carrier Battles pack including four new maps, five new achievements, and six tonnes of fun*.

Take a look at each of the new maps via the links below:

Midway Islands

Philippine Islands

Leyte

Aleutians

Now a quick word of calm: these should be up on Xbox 360 and Games for Windows Marketplace today. Please be patient during the roll out to your location, it can sometimes take a little while to reach everyone. As far as we're concerned, at this end, the switch has been flipped.

If you're going to take people's money for every tiny little game update, the least they could do is make they system for paying them WORK.

Of course, I suppose they did... It's very easy to buy M$ points. What's impossible is SPENDING them.

Plenty of things are. Just nothing even slightly connected to the name "Microsoft". That includes EVERYTHING for the Xbox, of course.

Most of the PC gaming world isn't, and so still gives stuff like this away on a regular basis... for now.

certainly 800 pts! it is expensive! for just the doors had maps! but the maps are superb!
also simply add a unit! to accompany the aircraft door or other poseurs like mine for example! because the underwater meadows of a base alloy that is not cool!

@Rhedd - Are you also having a problem? If so, please see above. Please bear in mind that Eidos do not develop the Games for Windows software and that any problems with purchasing Microsoft Points or using those points should be addressed to Games for Windows Live support as they are the only ones who can correct any Live account issues.

Now that, Battleshipman, was funny. Be careful though, we seem to have finally gotten somebody's attention. They're deleting (actually hiding) certain critical threads these days. Note: click on "last" in the BSP forum pages (near the bottom) and check out when Dremora posted a thread about a classic mode that seemed to be missing from preview descriptions. Guess how many times Eidos has commented on THAT question?

money is all they want now its games for windows i mean for midway all patches are free and there is a new map

oh and btw the internet on midway is better than on pacific

because at least i can get online with midway

Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry im ok with the new maps but i think they are to much micropoints and aslo there is a deleteing information thing going on and it is really makeing very mad, my friend thus got it and he complete the game and now all of his info is gone its happend to me 4 times lucky for me i only got the japenese campan deleted but if it does it to me agian i want my around 80 dollors back for my game and the DLC stuff i got wich agian was very expansive and aslo i had to take back my first game because it was already broken when i got it and was a new one so when gave it back from gamestop they gave me a used one with a ripted info book that every one gets for a game also did i tell you that spent two of my best games to get this one,but i half to say if this did not have all this problems i told you this game would be in my faveorites.

I love all the updates I think EIDOS did a great job with this game! Still there still some critical problems like the gameplay and the core of the game it self!

As for the Carier Battle pack, it is perfect! It is like the old Battlestations: Midway! Thanks for release this pack! Though why not in the whole game? Is this a marketing trick I'm not sure. I'm still happy to see new download content, but I hope it will not deminsh the amount of players who play this game (some can't or won't buy DLC's)

I hope to see more units later this year, EIDOS made a good replayble game! THANKS
